Wow What to put in this section, Need to loose about 40 lbs. I just started working out at the YMCA. Enjoy riding a bicycle, I have a road bike and have worked my way up to 20 miles. This is a small or medium ride for both me and husband. I am doing this for ME I want to get healthy, I want to loose inches and get into a smaller size. I found that going to the gym is more fun and I actually go. I figure with the price of memberships these days I had better go.

I looked up Phase 11 and if what I say it is part of the south beach diet. Now I am completely certain that eating under 1000 calories in a day can not be healthy under any reason. have you seen or at least double checked with a doctor to see if this is healthy for you?

New to the site and needing encouragement and support.
I am knew here and I am hoping to find the support that I have until now been lacking. I can work out alone would prefer not too. I belong to the Lancaster Ca, Y. I know and usually make smart choices when it comes to what I eat. I just find that it seems hard for me to find emotional support anywhere. My husband who does support me spends the week away from the home working, and we only see each other from Sat evening when I get home from work threw Monday afternoon when I take him to bus station. It is difficult for me to deal with this alone but doing this and trying to loose weight.. I am just hoping that I can find support on this site.

Looking for peeps to lose weight together! Summer 2014, I wanna be ready!
I am working on loosing the last 45 lbs or so, my "DIET" is none, I choose to make sensible and logical healthy eating choices. I eat less of some foods, and more of others. I eat lot's of boneless\skinless chicken breast, fresh fish and pork. I eat less pasta and rice and breads. I do not deny myself anything at all. I just make sure and try to make the portions smaller then what I used to eat. I feel that if you make sensible choices rather then being on the Diet. I hope that you continue to do well with your diet plan. Good Luck on reaching your goal weight.

Help me stop the cravings
I can tell you that if you not find a way to satisfy the craving you can run the risk of bunging. What I do is get the sweet or salty snacks and break them down into small portions. Use the small snack zip lock baggies. Pre-make small batches. For example a regular Hershey bar break it down into segments, place two or three squares in a bag. or salty snacks place a few chips or nuts or what ever into a baggie. The trick is to give your body what it wants just in small amounts instead of large unhealthy amounts
