Greetings, FS Buddies!
I'm so excited to be here. Been dieting all my life and looking forward to reaching my goal and maintaining it.
I am a 10-year breast cancer survivor. This year will be my 5th 3-Day Walk (walking 60 miles in 3 days) for Komen, raising money and awareness, provides testing for those who can't afford it, etc. So, training for the 3-Day keeps me walking during training, on the weekends at least. After the 3-Day, my plan is to keep up the walking, but every year I find myself starting over again. Same with the food plans.
The first year of training I came within 5 pounds of my goal and over the last 4 years have gained 20. I am very excited about FS, the support from all of you and looking forward to finally reaching my goal. Feels like such a relief after being on and off diets all my life.
