How Often Do you weigh yourself?
Ettennyl, you are amazing! I thought I read your loss per week, but after reading the whole post, I realize how you are doing this great loss. Here I think I am doing good when I lose a pound a week. lol You sure are doing great.
That work-out will help you to feel better daily, I am sure of that. I know when I do my Yoga and if I miss a day, I feel like my body is yelling at me for not doing it. But we do need a day off once in a while to heal our muscles so I still take a day off, whether my body likes it or not.
You will enjoy working out. It does become a good habit, and one that you will realize how well you will look after doing a work-out and your clothes will fit better and better, at least mine do.
Congratulations on your resolve!!!
Keep going and writing, and posting. WE all enjoy these posts.

Working on getting healthy (again)
Caktus, what kind of junk foods are you trying to get away from?
I know that was my big problem, and when I stopped putting sugar in my cereal, and stopped the donuts, candy, etc. I am feeling so much better. I even buy those things for Hubby ,but I don't eat them.
I am getting so much better at it too. I don't crave them, thus I don't eat them.

Working on getting healthy (again)
Caktus, I had to eliminate Sugar all together. I can't cut back as I have tried that and I keep eating so much more, and so many carbs. I just gave it up about 3 weeks ago and I am so much happier without it. My Hubby still eats it and I buy for him what he asks for at the store. I just don't look too hard at what I buy, I just make sure it is fresh. lol
I too find it harder to lose weight since I am older, but I have always fought my weight. I never really got to my goal weight before I would again start eating all the stuff I shouldn't have eaten to begin with.
That is why Sugar had to leave my house, at least for me. When I eat my Oats, or Cream of Wheat, I never put any sugar on them, I always put Raisins in them and just about 1/4 cup of whole milk. That is how I eat them now. They really taste good too. The real taste of Oats, is so much better than the sugar coated ones. imho
Thanks for the comment!!

Avocado Bacon Egg Salad
Lippybeth, I am learning, slowly, but learning none the less. LOL
I have only bought 2, and both were not ripe, but after reading about them, Thank God for google, I read how to pick a good one. The 2 I had, ripened in about 2 days so it wasn't long. I did the stem deal ,and when the stem came off, they were ripe.
I think even Hubby likes them, as he is asking for them on his sandwiches, or what I am fixing.
Thanks for the advice!!!

Why Do You REALLY, REALLY Want To Lose
ieGod, good one!!!
The best reason too.
If you want to have sex and can't, because of not having anyone who wants to with you, it is a big downer for sure.
No, I am not there, but I loved your comment, and thought of Hubby at that time.
Keep 'em coming.
