Re-connected with an old school friend who is a recently retired gp who ran a diabetes clinic. He advised me to get off gliclazide and read ‘The Diabetes Code’ by Jason Fung.

Now losing weight and controlling blood glucose by low carb high fat diet and intermittent fasting.
