I'm 24, from Chesapeake Virginia. struggling to lose weight forever it seems and I hate working out for the most part, alone anyway. My church group started off with zumba but one of our members was pregnant so we dialed it down. Fell in love with Zumba though, and I can't even dance ha.I've lost no weight with zumba and I did it religiously for a few weeks, hopefully with a light diet(even my diets are light) it will change but my issue is patience. I want immediate results immediately.

I am a full time student, unemployed mother of a 16 bout to be 17 month old girl, living with my parents( used to be pathetic now it's cliche). My mother is a freak of nature, works out everyday....EVERYDAY for at least an hour, she was in the military and she can't stay still. She makes me tired looking at her move around.

I am not naturally active, there was a time where I climbed trees and rode my bike daily but no more. Even though I love zumba getting up and dressed to workout is difficult. My daughter is changing that, she's so active like her grandma- and I'm the only one in the family who isn't athletic or ever was so it's easy to feel odd.

even my hobbies are non active, I like to write novel like stories, I draw and I could read all day if I had the time. I love action movies and comedies. I had joined another weight loss website but it was so long ago, I forgot my info and I never even made online friends with anyone so I moved on to something new hoping to change it.

Other than that I'm a scorpio, born in year of the dragon and this year is year of the dragon so I'm supposed to have luck, my Mayan zodiac (or simply animal) is a vulture...as you can see I'm into this sort of thing, harmless fun.

losing the weight
Measuring your portions is key, in my opinion, in calorie counting. It's a pain, it doesn't ever really LOOK like much but the eyes are like reverse car mirror-objects in eyes are smaller than they appear. As for calories...I'm no pro, or genius but in chemistry calories stands for energy which makes sense in a way. If you eat a lot then you're not doing anything with that energy and it gets stored as fat.
