I'm 30, female and living in the USA.

I've been overweight most of my life. (Seriously, since I was 13)

I'm so tired of being told how 'pretty you'd be if you just lost some weight'... and that comment always comes from people that seem to think 20 lbs can just drop off in a few days.

I accept that this will take work and effort, and for once I'm putting me first.

Size 8 jeans? Be afraid. I AM fitting you someday... even if it's funny coming from a girl who wears plus-sizes right now.

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
Once a week! If I weigh myself every day, I lose motivation. If I had something salty the night before, I retain water and it's not fun to see the scale go up when you know you've been on plan. Confused

Twice a week at the most, at least for me! Wink
