An older fellow living near Boise, Idaho with my wife, a boy and a cat. Since I am a veteran, I consider myself a "warrior poet." I have five children and 12 grand-children. Weighed just under 200 lbs for a short guy, I've got to loose a few in my age.
UpDate Mar 2016: Now I am around 190. Seem to be stuck here. Going to Ketckikan then North to Nenana, Alaska in August! In the meantime I umpire high school softball and work (volunteer) four hours a week at the Boise Family History Center. First game tomorrow.

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
I weigh daily because it has become a habit and because the bathroom scale is there. I am intrigued by the posts of those that can get discouraged when weighing daily, though. Maybe I'll go to weekly.

A+ Blood type
I am O+. In my younger days, vegetarian diets meant I would loose weight but I really didn't eat much beef, anyway. Still don't. Mostly fowl and fish (yes, I like fish). I must say, I think one should eat less meat then I do, but to always be vegetarian or eat a strict vegetarian diet? I don't know - I hardly think so. [aside] My wife is A something, half Japanese, and loves beef. Doesn't like fish so much. Cheer up, though! It could be a "vegan" diet!
