Looking for a buddy
I second on the therapist thing.
I had the same problem. I realized that I was eating because I was stressed. Now before I eat I always ask myself if I'm really hungry or if it's something else bothering me.
It really helps to talk to someone.
Something you may want to do is before hand size out portions of healthy snacks in little baggies so you don't accidentally overeat.

Yeah, I've found basically eating anything in front of a mirror definitely helps me stay on track.
I'll be munching on a snack and I'll catch a glance of myself and it'll give me a moment to stop and pause. Am I really hungry right now?

ALO!
So I'm here to continue my weight loss journey. I've just started the paleo diet and so far I'm loving it, if you have any paleo recipes and sites that you like I'd love to see them
I love to sing, dance, play piano, bake, cook and read.
I practice karate, it's really fun and a great way to exercise.
I also love to run, I'm not any good at it, but it's still fun
I love runner's high!
Basically I want to be comfortable in my skin again. I want to be able to wear shorts, swimsuits and skinny jeans. I want to have confidence in myself. I know that it's going to take a lot of hard work, and the results will not be overnight and I'm willing to accept this. I'm responsible for myself, I can blame nothing else for my weight gain. And so I need to take full responsibility for my weight loss

To be able to wear whatever I want and not have to worry about how it looks.
