I am a 36 year old woman married with 1 child. I have struggled with my weight for the last 10+ years. I would lose weight, and gain it all back again. About 2 years ago, I started watching a weight loss show. I started to get motivated again. I was about 220+lbs, maybe a little more(I didn't weigh myself much). I ended up losing about 35lbs then. I did yoga, walked, and anything else I could do to get moving. I also stuck to a low carb diet. Then before I knew it, I was back to 200lbs again. I did stay about 200lbs for about a year. Then almost 2 years ago, I purchased a program. It was a 60 day program and I stuck to it. I also was on a diet again. I lost about 25 pounds during that time. Over the year I tried to eat healthy and workout at least 5 times a week. I am now close to my next goal of 125lbs. I have a subscription based program that has over 600+ workouts to choose from. I have been trying to workout when I can. I found fatsecret and I am happy that I joined. I have been using it for about 9 months now, and have lost about 40lbs. I wish for everyone to have success and experience their own life-changing journeys.

For Me, Exercise is Necessary
I am glad that you are recovering. It is hard to deal with a mental illness. My husband also suffers from schizophrenia and I from bi-polar disorder. It is a huge challenge to keep us motivated. I'm sure that if you put your mind to it, you can still achieve your goals.
