What's to know? I'm just your average boring grandmother. <evil grin> If you think an US Army veteran, diesel mechanic, chuck wagon cook, round up rider, and I've forgotten what else I did before I got too ill to be active; is boring. Probably cause of my illness(es) cumulative effect of injuries.

I've been "retired" since 1993. Housebound for the last three years. I finally got a doctor that listened enough to send me to physical therapy and I'm moving a bit again with out pain.

I'm working my way down from a high of 300+ pounds on a 5'9" frame. Discovering an allergy to dairy products ended the gain but the weight has been slow to come off. I weighed 145 lbs in 1993 and would like to be there again before my 60th birthday in 2016.

Hungry

I am always hungry. I'm eating all the right things, proteins, fruit, veggies, carbs in am and for lunch and protein at night. I'm always finding myself hungry. I need to see a nutritionist but don't want to pay the $20 co-pay. Anyone have a plan for me?

I was always hungry until I discovered some food intolerances. Eliminating dairy, seafood, and some other foods from my diet tamed the beast, but was very hard to do.Elimination diet is one way to find the offending food(s).

bar code reader errors
The Droid barcode reader used to have an option to change the product if it was not correct. Yesterday, I scanned a LandO'Frost product and was told that it was some company I never heard of wrong serving size, wrong Kcal, etc. The only match was the item name. No option to change the entry.

Errors usually involve the same company and have the same nutritional info. (i.e. Oroweat and Arnold bread products) It's easy to ignore or work around those.
