I am a busy mom of 2. 4 y/o boy and a 6y/o girl. I am excited abou5 fitness. Health is one of my passions now. It wasnt always that way for me. I used to be 276 pounds and had no energy, depressed, fedup and frustrated. I am now 184 and have tons of energy. Life has opened up for me and now I feel like I can do anything. When you know better, you do better. I love food. I love helping others. I love Zumba, I am an instructor and its super fun...go try a class. I also love powerlifting and peanutbutter lol. I stay at home with my beautiful kiddos and also work from home. So i guess getting to the gym is also great for my sanity haha. My goal in 2016 is to learn to love running. Haha I mean seems practical if there ever is a zombie apocalypse hahaha. Any The Walking Dead fans out there.
Anyway i know what someone did for me, walking side by side to help me reach my hoals so feel free to let me know what your goals are.

If you want to know more about what I do, just ask. :)

Need Motivation.
Nicole you could add some light weights while your walking or using the eliptical. I was on that hamster wheel girl I get it. Carbs should be eaten breakfast and lunch for sustained energy. Proteins help you feel full and tons of veggies and I use supplements as well but that to each their own.

Calorie Intake
Ive had good success at just eyeballing pprtion sizes, but I really learned that from someone else. Haha. It depends on your activity level, body size, and an array or other things. I usually take in about 2200 to 2500 calories and I thought my friend was out of her mind, but I dropped 14 pounds in less than a month and continued on to loose 10 more and been doing really well with her plan. Its easy now. I was doing powerlifting and never seen a darn thing change. Mostly because I had no idea what the heck I was doing in the kitchen. Got a good handle now. But no I dont think anyone can really come up with a perfect calorie count for ya based on just that. Really depends.

Hi i'm new
I'm new too. I am new to online fitness support period. I've logged in before, but I didn't stay logging in. I think if I view it as a social network, geared specifically towards getting healthy,it might have a better result, haha. Because I never skip a beat with my fb,lol. Trying to find a couple friends. I entered a challenge too Smile
