I was on the Atkins Diet for 5 months. I only lost 15 pounds but for the first 2 months, I was energized, feeling great and doing good. There are some nutritional strategies that can help support the rebalancing of appetite hormones and weight gain. Replace Diet Soda
I still have a couple of sodas a year (superbowl),but I have regular ones because diet ones scare me. I found for myself that quiting cold turkey was the best way for me cause having one a few times a week just made me crave them regularly. Cold turkey after a few days I lost the craving completely and now feel a bit sicky when I drink sodas.My absolute replacement is coconut water.

Healthy Meal Ideas
I had this yesterday night and it was lovely.One should have a frypan and microwave to do this.
1)Slice chicken breast fillet horizontally. Place in baking dish with a couple of tablespoons of salsa spread over the chicken then place sliced ham on top and sprinkle a bit of low fat grated cheese over the lot.
2)Cover with foil and bake at 200 for 20 mins, remove foil and bake further 5 mins to get cheese golden.
3)Serve with salad or vegies and remember not to put a massive dollop of sour cream on your potato.

Eating before a morning workout? What do you do?
Before my workouts I eat a complex carb like a potato and a lean protein like chicken or tuna and a handful of a calorie dense nut like walnuts. Eat atleast an hour and a half to 2 hours before your workout though so I don't get upset stomach.Post workout drink 1 cup of chocolate milk.
