I live in the Midwest. I am married and have 3 cats. I had Gastric Bypass about 2 1/2 years ago and was told to eat a high protien, low carb diet, but never given any direction. I started out at 407# and got down to 238#, but got "scared" when others started saying that I looked good, etc. I regained up to 297# and said enough is enough. I looked for a way of eating close to what I believe the doctor would recommend. Atkins helped me conquer my carb cravings. I am going to do a modified atkins/Gastric Bypass diet.

I deal with a family that is part heavy and part skinny. I take after my mother.

Protein Shakes
I have had many protein shakes over the last 2-3 years. The best one that I have ever found is the Unjury brand shakes. I order them on line. They do not have a protein after taste that many protein drinks have. I mix them in with a coffee in the morning, in various foods, etc. They even have recipes that are yummy on their web site.

Nutrition break down/recipe for Pumpkin MIM's
Ok, after searching for the last 2 hours for the Pumpkin MIM recipe, I give up. I have to ask, does someone have this or can someone tell me what it is listed as under the recipes? I couldn't find it, but it says, Pumpkin MIM already exists??? The MIM recipe I have is not accurate. Help.

What are some of your embarassing/emotional/eye opening reasons for loosing weight?
I want to shop at normal stores for clothes. I want to wear my sisters clothes. I want to fit in theatre chairs, roller coasters, ride my bike without hanging out all over. I want to sit on the floor "indian style". I want to fly without having to worry that I won't fit in my seat and have to have a seat belt extender. I hate weighing in at the doctors and being told, you are morbidly obese. I want to hear, you are a healthy weight.
