Gaining on 800 cal/day
Well just based on the information you provided 69,120 ibs, low activity. I randomly put her hight at 5'2". based on that her base kcal daily energy expenditure sits at 1020 kcal. so at 800 cals /day she has a net loss of 220 cals /day. 3500/220=15.9 SO she can expect to lose 2 lbs a month IF she stays exactly at 800. The most likey cause of the discrepancy would be underestimating the total caloric intake. That extra 200 cals can easliy be consumed by a stray muffin and coffee / cream and sugar. Easy to do when you looking at just 200 cals.

Ketosis Achieved
yup you have what is known as the Keto flu and it is from electrolite loss. What I use and works great. is when ever I feel the need I get a glass of water add.. A bit of lemon juice and stevia for the tase factor and add to this some salt (Sodium) No Salt SUbstitute or just Cream of Tartar (Potassium) and take it with a magnseium tablet. Instant keto gatoraide or sports drink if you like. I know sounds like it tastes like crap BUT when you are in Ketosis your body will crave these electrolites and will taste not too bad at all.

Hi
I retired 59 and 100lbs over weight...Woke up the other day and figured I better get on this before its too late. I don't have a real diet in mind I'm just going to use an old school method I used to use back in the 70's to get shredded for the summer. Its an old body building cutting program. Consists of simply 1 lb of meat and 6 eggs a day and just water to drink. I know sounds boring no grainola or chia seeds or kale and avacados. Just meat and eggs. Never did exercise much just pumped iron. But this has worked many times in the past for me and I get lost trying to count calories an planning meals. Its just easy and no guesswork or watching macros.And its a pretty cost effective way to eat. Meat is about $5.00 and 6 eggs run you about $1.50.So I decided its time for one more kick at the cat.
