I have struggled with weight for a long time now. Being an older person, it's been creeping up on me slowly for many years. So, now I'm told my A1C is way too high, I am potentially diabetic (I know I am), and I need to lose weight by getting active and eating more wisely. I need to do this for myself but also, I want to be around for the grandchildren for a longer time. I have damaged myself from smoking for years and I quit that a few years ago, but the abuse from eating wrong has now got to change, too. I am looking forward to the information and support from this group of great folks.
