I'm 43 years old (just two weeks away from 44) and have never been good at exercise or eating healthy. I'm 5'2", so even though at 140, it may not be overweight, it looks and feels like it to me.
I'm not following any diet. I can't stick with them anyway. I'm just trying to be more conscious about what I eat, and the food journal has been a great tool for me.
I'm really exercising for the first time in my life - started with the Beginner Runner's Challenge and I'm on week 2. So far, so good! I make myself do it right when I get home from work and do it five days in a row. I know myself well enough that if I skip a day, I'll just keep finding excuses not to do it.
Here's hoping I can get back to 120 lbs, where I truly feel my best!
