I am writing my bio 2 weeks after opening this account because I wasnt sure if I was going to stick with it.

I can happily say that I am on day 12 of my diet and I am feeling great! To be honest I really do not know how I was eating the foods I was eating without paying any attention to it. It makes me itch!!

I didnt think this could be a life long thing for me but I cannot picture going back to how I used to eat. I would feel way too guitly and would not enjoy my food. I will not be so strict with my diet as I am now but I have learned ALOT and these are lessons I can carry throughout my life. I am happy I decided to do this at the age of 21 so that I can learn these things while Im still young and hopefully it sticks.

Lost 15lbs!!!
I started diet on April 17th 2012. I went slowly into the Atkins Induction stage. Reduced my carb intake massivly (I love spaghettit....ALOT) and that got rid of most of my cravings. After about 3 weeks of Induction, I switched to an organic, clean, lots of fruits and veggies, as low carb as possible, and sugar free style diet. Theres no real structre but not eating carbs for 3 weeks made me learn alot about food!!! Good luck Smile

woohooo lost 9lbs!!
Haven't posted in a while but I want to share the good news! Scales terrify but my curiousity was not going away....my clothes started fitting better and the things that fit me before are becoming too big. I decided to hop on the scale and tada!! 10lbs down. I started on Atkins induction stage to get rid of unnecessary carbs in my diet and to also get rid of cravings. I now eat everything in its most natural form. Lots of fruits and veggies, meats, and some dairy products. No starch and definitely no sugar!! I've changed my whole eating lifestyle and will never go back to how I used to eat. I cook everything myself, rarely do I eat out...if I do, I stick to the same rules, salad, salmon, or chicken or a combination and always water!! Good luck to all of you Smile!

No flour/sugar brownies
These are amazing!

3/4 cup ground flax seed meal
1/4 cup cocoa powder unsweetened
1/2 cup 0 calorie 0 carb sweetener
1/4 cup butter/margarine
1/3 cup sour cream
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg

Sift all dry ingredients together. Mix butter and sweetener until smooth, add egg and vanilla, add sour cream, and slowly add dry ingredients. Pour into small-medium square baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for about 10mins (keep checking until it puffs up). These taste like the real thing! If you need a little more sweetness add some semi sweet chocolate chips. You can also alter this recipe for double chocolate chip cookies Smile Enjoy!

Low Carb Chicken Strips
Almonds would be great too! All I had were some organic walnuts when I made these but almonds or any other nuts would work too!
