I don't know what went wrong, my scale, who knows. I thought I was doing so well. That has really dampened my spirits. I've decided to exercise more and cut out bacon and sausage. Those 2 things are making my whole family fat b/c they eat the carbs plus the greasey meats and cheeses. I can't have that, not this chilly time of year. We'll see how I do next week. I am exercising a lot more so we'll see.

I fell one pound of my goal of 10 lbs. for the week. I know that will not happen next week so I'm setting a goal of weighing 6 pounds less for next week. I have to work really hard though. My skin is saggy and gross so I need to firm it up. I just had a baby 3 months ago so that's part of my problem. I am going to do 100 crunches each night and see how that works. It's an easy goal and work out at the gym when it's convenient for me. I am really sticking to it and am soooo happy with the results, people are noticing, esp. my husband and kids, my boys are especially amazed. Today I went to the Y and played basketball and soccer with my 9 year old!!! I have never wanted to do that before. I feel so good, I'm a changed person the good. I'm not tired, hungry and irritable all the time anymore. I had my 8 year old's birthday party yesterday and didn't even want to lick the frosting off my fingers!!! I concocted my own recipe, don't know what to call it and didn't measure anything but ate that instead of cake and my family was jealous and couldn't believe it was low carb. It was cream cheese, whipped cream, splenda, and baking cocoa mixed. It was delicious so now I have that on hand when I need a chocolate fix. I highly recommend it and will pay more attention next time I make it and post the recipe. Please don't give up on this diet, it will change your life and you will feel like a new person. When you first start, measure your stomach, neck, thighs, and arms then check it in a week, you'll definitely see a difference if not on the scale then on your smaller body. Your clothes will fit better. Stick wit it!!!

I weighed myself on Monday, October 15th, I weighed a staggering 254 lbs!!! It wasn't to much of a shock, before I gave birth in July I was 272 b/c of all the fluid retention. Since I've started Atkins and mixed it with Herbalife Total Control pills I have lost 7 lbs and it's only Thursday, October 18th!!! I couldn't believe it. I am so happy, I went and handed in my resume to a few places, still had a hard time finding clothes to fit, my thinner clothes wouldn't button and I looked like MC Hammer in my fat pants. There's no going back now.
