Is it absolutley necessary to eat 20G of net carbs a day?
Boy..I have been struggling ..being on eating plan for 4 days. On pg. 85 of "The New Atkins for a New You" it states..12 to 15 grams of net carbs daily..equivalent to approximately "6 cups" of salad and up to 2 cups of cooked veggies. Thats a total of 8 cups of veggies. Did I miss something? Because you are all talking about ..."You can eat about 3 cups of salad greens (first list) or 2 cups of salad (first list) plus 1 cup of other vegetables (second list)". I have been trying to eat the 6 cups salad greens and 2 c. cooked and I am struggling with salad overload..Am I doing this all wrong? Please help me correct this and is the ..."You can eat about 3 cups of salad greens (first list) or 2 cups of salad (first list) plus 1 cup of other vegetables (second list)", correct?
