I don't actually know my starting weight right now (I'll have to weigh myself at my parents house and make the adjustment later) but I know that I want to gain momentum and start losing again and get myself on a good schedule again.
Update: We're married(!!) and moving in a month, which I am both excited about and a little bummed about. The move feels a bit like a step backward (we're both unemployed right now and are moving into my parents' 6 bedroom house) but it also feels good, because I know that we wont be so stressed financially, and will be able to start saving money for a down payment on our own house, which we couldn't have done, still paying such expensive rent out here. It feels like the right sacrafice to be making, and with that adult decision, I also feel like its time to get serious about my health again, so I am back to working out regularly and eating healthfully--something I'll be able to better afford, after we move.
There are a lot of positive changes coming our way, and I want the way I feel about myself to be one of them. Thanks for re-starting this journey with me!

Things have finally settled down after our beautiful wedding, and I am once again back on the "being healthy" band wagon...not that I ever completely fell off it...I just want to start being more aware of my habits again, by monitoring them.
Anyway, here we go...and here's NOT to gaining the wedding weight!

I'm excited! I have been trying to figure out how to get back into Bikram yoga without spending big bucks (I can't justify spending more on exercise than I already am on my gym membership and personal training). So I contacted the local Bikram studio and offered to redo their website in exchange for free yoga tuition...and they went for it! I'm on deadline tonight at work, so I'm not sure I'll get to the class in time, but I am for sure going tomorrow!
Also...getting enough calories in is starting to get difficult. With drinking all the water I am drinking, I'm just not getting that hungry anymore! But I'm trying to keep my calories around 1350 for the day, because my trainer says dipping lower than that can slow my metabolism and cause the exhaustion I've been feeling after my early morning workouts.
Hope you're all feeling good!

My training session last night with Caitlin was amazing. My form has really gotten better and I was really pushing myself. I got a little light headed a few times (I had been a little low on my caloric intake at that point in the day so far) but I was glad I drank enough water...I could tell it really helped my energy, my stamina and my ability to get a good sweat. After I felt nice and relaxed, to the point I almost fell asleep on BART! I went home and made sure to meet my caloric needs for the day by having a hearty, protein packed dinner.
I am going to get a manicure with my best friend today, and then going shopping for a couple outfits for my engagement photos next Thursday. Its easy for me to meet my water needs at work with the water cooler in our office, but I'm going to try and stay hydrated today by bringing a water bottle with me on my outing.
After shopping, the fiance and I have a date to workout for an hour in our condo's complex gym. And then I'm treating myself for a tan (I know, I know, but I need to not be the same color as my wedding gown!)
Hope you all have a fabulous and healthy 4th!!
