I am 38 years old. I am the heaviest I have ever been in my life. This is actually the most recent photo of just me. In this picture I am about 8 -10 pound lighter that when I started the ABS Diet.

I entered the incorrect weight(224)as my initial weight. I changed it(217) for each weigh-in, however it will not change as my starting weight. I don't want it to look like I went from 224-211 in less two weeks.

My partner and I stopped drinking socially 3 times a week and stopped smoking. Now we are both at least 40 pounds heavier then we were 1 1/2 years ago.

My partner and I live in PA and raise our 4 children ( 17, 15, 12, 11). Our life is very busy and at time chaotic. Four kids keeps us busy. I am currently the primary caretaker Monday through Friday. My partner goes to school during the day and works second shift. That leaves me to care for the house and the kids. I am constantly running them places. I was able to put food together for them, however I would run by a McDonald's for a dollar menu double cheeseburger or two.

I have changed my perspective the last two weeks. When I stepped on the scale at the doctors office I about cried. I picked up The Abs diet book from the buy one get one 1/2 off at Borders. I was sold on the principles. From that point on my focus has changed. I make sure there is always food for me to take for breakfast and lunch. Food that is just as easy and fast as pop tarts and double cheeseburgers from McDonald's. Instead of sitting in the car while my sons are at soccer practice, I am walking.

I like the ease of the Abs diet so far. I do not need to count calories or points or really measure any food. This one might be the one for me.
