Hi, I am Tammy. I wear many hats, I am a wife (almost 8 years now), mom to 3 adult children (1 with mental health issues), 1 adult step-daughter, raising my 6 year old granddaughter, teach at a local college, adviser for a local college, and student in a doctorate program. I am very busy. My responsibilities have me mainly at my desk, so I try to take frequent breaks to walk around, do squats or just stretch.

I have been overweight all but 2 years of my entire life. I have a love/hate relationship with food. I am now on a keto program with a health coach through my doctor's office. I am starting at 289 on May 7 and now, June 22 am at 277.4.

My mother's mom died at 58 years old from complications of diabetes and my mom died at age 59 of a triple A (heart issues). I want to make it past 60! Actually, to make it well into my 80s would be great.

My WHY - See my granddaughter grow up and be a successful adult, have good health so that I can do whatever I want (hike, bike, walk, play) without any thought to my weight. I want my weight to be an non-existing issue.
