Born and raised a Jersey girl, I recently moved out to Pennsylvania to start my dream career and to live with the love of my life. I love to cook and I love business. Right now I am a restaurant manager and I cannot wait to have a place of my own. I work hard, but try to have a good time when I can. I like to read, work out (especially boxing and swimming!), drink wine, hang out with friends, and be with my family.

Question for GYM RATS
I work out 4-5x a week. In the past I tried 45 min of elliptical, then 1/2 an hour of weight training. Then I was told by a personal trainer to do circut training. Now, I am at another gym and I was told by this personal trainer (who is a pro wrestler, so I am going to go with him) that circut training is bad and that you should warm up for a little with cardio (10-15 min), weight train, and then do 20 more minutes of cardio. My weight training is as follows:
1 day shoulders, chest, triceps
1 day back and biceps
1 day abs and legs
Making sure to give each muscle group two days of rest before exercising it again. Hope this helps!

Why Women Should Train with Weights!
I hate how closed minded some women are, and then they wonder why their results are the same. Weight training is essential to weight loss. Muscle burns fat and has less density (meaning a pound of fat and a pound of muscle weigh the same, but muscle takes up less room) than fat. Without building muscle, how do you expect to effectively burn fat? And if you do burn something, chances are its muscle and that is a terrible thing to burn.

"Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results."
