46 year old homeschooling mom to two boys with neurological disorders. Currently at 189, goal is to be at around 155. Have started a more plant based diet, cutting out processed foods, eating much much less animal products and limiting to fish and organic grass fed meats (in small amounts). Cut out dairy except cheese and a little butter. Always use olive oil (as married to a Spaniard). Switched to whole grains, nuts, etc. Lots of fresh made hummus.
Have gained weight since the switch to healthier foods. I assume it is due to the carbs (healthy, but carbs none the less). I need fatsecret to help me track my calories, etc.
