Soy-free energy bars
Ever try Larabar? They are delicious and all (except the chocolate ones) contain around 3 total ingredients like figs nuts and fruit. They are kind of high in calories (around 200) but they are very satisfying and healthy. And no soy anything. They would be in the "natural foods" section of the grocery store.

Search oddities on
It is so weird. Fatsecret refuses to give me results when I search butternut squash. Or, just "butternut" gives only food by a brand called butternut. But I *KNOW* butternut winter squash (can be found when searching only "squash"Wink is in the database as are butternut containing things, like butternut raviolis by multiple brands. Why can't I look you up, oh delicious butternut squash?

Healthy Snack Bars Under 200 Calories ?
I'm a fan of the Lara Bars and Luna Bars (in the organic section of the grocery store). I also really like the South Beach Diet Cinnamon Raisin bar. All are around 160-180 calories.

Visiting my diet-killing Granny...
Hey guys, thanks for all your help. I went with the general advice of eat some of the goodies, eat slow, and watch portions. I kind of had to make stuff up for my calorie count (since I didn't prepare anything myself) but I seemed to be doing pretty well. I only had 1 serving of mashed potatoes. A feat I once deemed impossible! I think I will finish the evening with maybe only one more goodie. Then I just have to survive tomorrow's waffle breakfast. haha. Thanks for all the ideas and support!

1200 calories a day question
I'm sedentary in that until I decided to do this I didn't get any exercise. I just started jogging and trying an exercise video when I joined the site.
