Introduction and Need Advice
Hey everyone, I'm new to these forums. I have 20 pounds left to go till my weight loss goal. I am mostly active and eating healthy foods but I think I have hit a plateau as I haven't lost any weight for 2 weeks. Hence why I decided to sign up to these forums

I found this site and I was wanting any advice if I should sign up or not: http://calorietricks.com.

All advice would be greatly appreciated.

Top 5 Biggest Fast Food Offenders
If you look at photographs from the mid-20th century, you'll see most people were pretty slim. If you see what they ate, it was lots of fat, butter, milk, etc. What people did not have was an abundance of sugar in about everything. Good luck these days finding even ham or bread without added sugars, especially corn-syrup.

Adding corn-syrup to everything should be outlawed. With our brains hard-wired to like sweet things, adding corn-syrup is almost as addictive and dangerous as handing out drugs.

Apart from that, the food experts just piss me off. Every week they come up with a different story.

DIET BUDDY
Great choice to make! It has been proven that if you have a weight loss buddy you are more likely to stick to the plan/routine and get to your target goal. However I have to mention that the most important thing is to make lifestyle changes to lose weight and keep it off for good. Diets don’t work nor does fad products and pills. Wishing you good luck Smile Smile Smile

alchohol and diet
Risk of death. No really, that's all the motivation I need to live a healthy lifestyle. The older you get, the more health issues you have the more you weigh. Diabetes. Stroke. Heart attack. It is not worth it. No matter how delicious a meal is. I suggest drinking no more than once per week. Focus on walking 30 minutes a day and eating more fruits/veges and cut out junk/sugary foods.

Don't for get to drink lots of water everyday, too. Hope this helps.

any toning tips?
Squats, squats and more squats. Oh and I forgot to mention to add some lunges in there too. Squats are so good, you can even build your abs as just by doing them. If you have no time and no weights you can even do them at home without weights.

Also some people think you need to do all these technical exercises to build your abs. Just focus on your top, lower and obliques and you're sorted Wink Good luck!
