I am semi-retired, working part-time from home with my husband doing Party Rental. I am also published children's book author. Since I started here I have finished book 2 of the series "Pepper the Magic Tortie Cat". In addition I just finished a hiostorical fiction novel "Powereless in Poland". It is based on my 95-year-old Uncle's life in German Occupied Poland during World War 2. It has been an amazing journey but I STILL am struggling to lose that elusive 20 pounds! I am inspired by all of your stories. I trust we all become healthier and find a comfortable weight. It doesn't necessarily have to match what society forces us to believe is perfect! My goal weight is far from the published charts but it is where I am at my best.

Awesome Low Carb Recipe!
I made stuffed portobello mushrooms today, tweeked a recipe I found online. Rice was on the side for the rest of the family. I won't eat it, trying to keep the carbs low.
I added chopped green pepper, chopped zuchini, chopped celery and extra herbs to the recipe I found online. It was SO good!

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
Only once a week on a specific day. Weighing yourself everyday is a roller coaster because things will fluctuate. Stay on an even keel on your diet and weigh once a week. In the morning and naked, of course. We gotta get every edge Bad Grin
