It's the beginning of a new year “2011”. I'm 30 yrs old and live in upstate New York (Syracuse area). I lived in Ft. Lauderdale, FL for about 4 yrs for work and moved back up to upstate NY in 2009. I worked as a QA analyst and I really love to draw and paint when I can. The last few years I started putting on weight due to getting sick from a medication that was given to me for a nerve disease I have called RSD (reflex sympathetic dystrophy) in my left arm. I ended up having an allergic reaction to it. I was on so many steroids through an I.V. in the hospital for weeks that I gained 50lbs in just over a month. That was very scary to me. I ended up gaining even more when I got out of the hospital because of the fact I wasn't working and sitting around. I really hope I can meet my goal this year. I know it's going to be tough because I don't have many people in my life that will support me...meaning they just always throw food in my face because they don't understand how to eat healthy and are always forgetting that I'm on a diet. It would just really help if I just had some friends and support on this so if anyone is interested I would be glad to give 110% of support and friendship right back… and if you live in the same area, maybe we could even meet up and do cardio together:) Well that is some stuff about me and I hope to hear from others and wish everyone luck with their goals. - Love Jamie
