Im 34 years old and I feel I went full circle back to the same weight I was 10 years ago at 180 lbs, although I always struggled with my weight, being that i have been down to my lowest in a size 1/ this point im clearly very unhappy, I started my journey 11/4/10 I have made a lot sacrifices and changed my whole way of thinking this time around and I focused more on my addiction of nicotine, I have smoked for 23 years, I start when I was 11 rebelling against my parents for getting a divorced and wanted to quit for many years with 4 attempts and each time putting on the pounds. Im only 5’2 at 180 lbs I looked like a rollie pollie and just was disgusted every time I looked at myself in the mirror. Taking pictures of myself was definitely a challenge being it could only a face shot with the double chin, I finally mastered the right angle lol I finally realized one day with the help of a friend who said “the time is now, its my time” and that has inspired me to make the changes I needed to make in order to have a happier me, I was gonna wait for new years but no “THE TIME IS NOW” I do deserve it

What is Cardio?..Which is the winner?..Pros and Cons..So what to do then...Lets go!
Awesome, thanks for the info zebazec, and looking great I must say, its definitely a commitment and hard work to have a body like urs, I recently started my body training journey early November because I quit smoking, I been going to the gym doing the elliptical (which u didn’t mention much about the pros and cons) an hour a day for everyday except for 10 days in December, I feel I must go everyday and my thinking is its better not to go at all and it will keep my consistent; I started on lvl 1 and each week I move myself up a lvl but I try to move at least 6 miles for 60 mins and burn 600 calories, I stay at the same speed for 9 mins and then push it as hard as I can for a min. then back down to the original speed for 9 mins and ect…xmas day start to train on the wii fit plus, which they have a lot to choose from, step, boxing, running ect and believe me after that I felt sore muscles but im not burning as much calories and as of 1/8 I start using some upper body machine, arms and chest, im using 10 lb weight and doing 2 sets of 10, one set before the elliptical and one set after, each week I was thinking about adding 2 more to my reps. I have lost 5.3 pounds since xmas but I feel it more in my clothes, besides the jump jacks your lil warrior is also on the wii. Would u say it is not safe to do the elliptical for an hour?

I wanna lose but hubby wants to gain....what to cook?
im new to the site also but arent u suppose to stick to the topic the title was..."I wanna lose but hubby wants to gain....what to cook?" if the word "hubby" annoys u then why bother reading it in the 1st place, it makes no sense that u would even comment on the word hubby when she is asking what food to cook, im not wasting any more of my energy on this non sense, everyone had a good point who stayed on topic
