Carb question
Since you are dealing with diabetes I would suggest not doing atkins. Diabetics often have high lipid levels , to much saturated fats are unwise. Eat a balanced diet and cut back on high glycemic foods and refined foods

I'm a picky eater!!
I have type 2 diabetes and I still eat fruit. I do think seeing a ada nutritionist can help you. But if you cannot swing that then learn to choose the lower gycemic fruits. And eat your fruits paired with other foods that buffer the sugar of the fruit. Also learn reasonable fruit portion sizes.

As for veggies, I add frozen veggies to good like pasta sauces, ecg beaters, child, casseroles and such. Try different mrs dash seasonings also to flavor your veggies. Balsamic vinegars are great to add to veggies

Anyone dealing with exercize-induced amenorrhea?
You need a certain amount of healthy oils in your diet to make the hormones in your body that do things like regulate a womans menses cycle. Fats also are needed top make antibodies, treats, absorb nutrients like vitamin D.
,Yes,see a nutritionist and bring a food log. Over exercise, anorexia, and other issues can cause your cycle to get
irregular or stop and stress too can play a role. God luck.
Healthy sources of fast are best. Olive oil, canola oil, salmon, nuts like walnuts, avocado. Dairy has butter fats so consume in moderation.
