I am 51. I live in Northern Wisconsin. Last time i was an average weight...in kindergarten. I've been "dieting" on and off all my life. I've never followed "fad diets", Just healthier eating and exercise. I struggle with motivation.I enjoy food. Now i often just feel bad about whatever i eat.i can't seem to get it through my head about eating and consequences, since now i am at the point where my weight is causing me real problems. Diabetes didnt slow me down much a few years ago, but pain seems to be more of a motivator.I want to "get it" before it's too late. I am not a stupid person, i just eat too much.I know it's going to kill me, so I need to do something now. I can only try.........again.

Someone please guide me
OOOH chips and soda..the diet soda isnt so bad...but the chips are soo addicting...i wont even have them in my house. I have little control, and the more of them i eat, the more i crave them, they whisper my name and haunt me, lol. If you cant stop the chips, try a substitute like popcorn, hot air popped if you can.or buy those pre-measured bags of chips( i end up eating all of it though). stopping cravings is a huge challenge. i really do find that if i stop eating the junk, i dont crave it. there are few things that i substitute that are lower calorie choices. sugar -free jello( eat a ton!) sugar free popsicles ( eat 6!) no matter what, try to get as much exercise as you can, it will help burn it all up ! good luck to you!
