My journey began in Feb of 2016. I spent the prior 20 years chasing success! I found it and completely lost my health. I had gotten up to 323 lbs a size 48 waist and a xxxl shirt. I was eating out 3 meals a day and snacking on cheetos and cupcakes. i washed it all down with a 2 liter a day of Mt Dew. I tried exercising. I found out I could not out work a bad diet, but it took several months to figure this out. So next I tried juicing. Felt great and lost some weight. However, it was not sustainable for me. I was losing weight similiar to having a limb cut off to drop lbs. Muscle mass, what little I had was vanishing faster than the fat. After about a year I joined a crossfit box, got me a good coach, and then took a nutrition course. I am in the best shape of my life. I am not ripped but I can lift some heavy weights, I am not skinny, but can fit into a size 34 pants and a large shirt now. I have developed a very active functional lifestyle that I have maintained for over a year now. I eat real food and an abundance of it. I work out 4-6 times a week. I also make time for proper rest and recovery. For me its a perfect balance. Nothing is off limits but everything is in moderation. I found consistency and moderation was my key to success.
