I am a 57 year old Grand mother. I have been battling myself for years. Why, well there are a multitude of reasons, but the most important one was, I comforted myself with food when I was depressed. Then, of course, I became more depressed as I became morbidly obese. I couldn't play with my grandchildren, didn't do anything but nap when I came home from work. I went to my doctor, and pretty well, just laid it all on the line. I told him how I was feeling, I hurt absolutely everywhere. I was depressed with my entire existence. He really listened and let me know that he was in my corner. Since that visit, I have a new outlook. I am on medications that help the joint pain, and the ability to move without constant pain has lifted my spirits. I have committed myself to a new me and this website is just the ticket to keep me on target. I know that I will succeed in my transformation to a healthier me and in the knowledge lies my solace.
