I am married,53 years old and have a dog named Killian. I'm a medical professional and live in Upstate NY. I have tried WW numerous times with good results but it never seems to stick. I am hoping that by tracking my calories and fat/protein/carb ratios that I will finally get the weight off and keep it off for good.

Protien Ideas???
I am really needing some help with regards to upping my protein intake but not increasing my carb intake as much at the same time. Does anyone have a list of high protein but low carb foods that I could easily add at each meal and as a snack if my protein intake is low for that time of day?
Thanks.

I am getting down now!!! help please.
Well, I am not a nutritionist but I have noticed from your food diary that you are eating quite a bit of carbs. I am not saying to not eat carbs. I would just think having a better ratio of fat/carbs/protein may help you. (50% carbs, 30% protein, 20% fat). I had the same problem but looking at the pie chart at the bottom of the food diary helped me to make better decisions on my food selection for the day. Just food for thought..no pun intended.

Thin is not always healthy
Thanks for sharing. Love this paragraph from the article....

"When it comes to being fit, experts say there is no short-cut. “If you just want to look thin, then maybe dieting is enough” “But if you want to actually be healthy, then exercise has to be an important component of your lifestyle.”"
