On my way to being Fit n Fab! I am a 44-year old mom of two who wants to reclaim the body I once had. I have about 30-35 pounds to lose and I've just gotten started with Eating Clean! Making healthy choices and feeding our bodies the right foods for life improves our overall health and well being and sets a great example for the young ones!

How to treat constipation naturally?
I read in Tosca Reno's Eat-Clean Diet book that flaxseed is wonderful for regularity! Freshly ground and sprinkled on any meal (oatmeal for breakfast, in salads, in plain yogurt etc.) and you'll be good in no time. It also has a "pipe cleansing" effect and gets rid of the built up junk in your intestines too! Start with 1/4 teaspoon and work your way up to a tablespoon per day. Smile

Turned 50 this year
It's never too late to make the change and reclaim YOU! Just always remember to keep your goals in mind and use them as constant reminders to keep you on track. Nothing is ever easy - it takes hard work, but it's so much more rewarding and so much more worth it that way! Cheers to a HAPPIER and HEALTHIER us this summer! =)

Back to basics: eat better, move more.
I'm just starting, but so far, it's working! I feel better than ever and it's only the beginning, so it can only get better from here Smile

I just eat clean - natural, wholesome, nutritious foods; lean protein, complex carbs, healthy fats etc.; small meals, 6 times a day; exercise (cardio and strength training). I'm excited to one day post my before and after shots!

baby belly????
Ab exercises will strengthen your muscles, but eating healthy, natural, low-fat foods and cardio will help with the stubborn belly-fat. It may never go away, but you should definitely see lots of improvement. Once you start to slim down with cardio, then you can intensify your ab workouts to make your muscles stronger and more defined, as well as to tighten up your skin as much as possible. It may take years, but it's a process and it's well worth it! I still have quite a bit to lose from my midsection, but I have seen changes and I love it!

Eat as healthy as possible - nutrition is 80% responsible for your body and your shape! For cardio, I do HIIT (high-intesity interval training) and it's amazing - tough, but nothing is ever easy. Workout at high intensity for 5 mins. and then switch to low-intensity for a few minutes and keep switching! =)

Eat Clean Diet
You should also take a look at Tosca Reno's book, The Eat-Clean Diet Recharged! Such a wonderful read - so motivational and it got me started on my way to a healthier me! It's not really a diet, but more a lifestyle change - it's about preparing and eating healthy, unprocessed, wholesome and natural foods. You don't have to starve yourself, count calories or points, eliminate carbs etc. You eat 5-6 meals per day with lean protein, complex carbs, healthy fats etc. You can follow the suggested meal plans or create your own by following the basic guidelines - simple enough! Eating clean is for everyone whether you're looking to gain, lose or maintain your weight. Take a look through Tosca's, Eat-Clean Diet Recharged! and I know you'll love it too - I started to feel and see a difference in a matter of days (my skin, hair, energy levels etc.)! All the best =)
