OK, here we go again. After having a successful weight loss a few years back, I got too comfortable and completely forgot all of the food and alcohol rules. I can not eat and drink like I did when I was in my 20's....mindless calorie consumption all day long. To make matters worse, I now work from home much of the time, which means I am even more sedentary than ever. But I am also bigger than ever (174 lbs at the biggest) and it is affecting my back problems more than anything. And I'm always exhausted. So for the last week I have really been concentrating. I'm wearing a FitBit, which is tremendous help to let me know how much or how little I am moving. And I am tracking my food, which is definitely an eye opener. Apparently I need to stop at two Taco Bell tacos. :) So this week, I haven't been following any particular diet, just eating well and eating clean, fresh foods, making sure I log them so I know my intake, and then making sure I burn more calories than I consume. And I think I've lost about 7 pounds in 2-3 weeks. That is just the encouragement I needed. Once I see that scale start going down, I am very reluctant to do anything to lose that progress. So I'm back, Fat Secret Community, and I'm chatty, so let's get going!
