A Newbie Quantified Self want-a-be.
Set a goal to trim down in 2012.Weighing in at 172, according to my BMI, I was classified as overweight. First, set a goal to reach 165 lbs (7 lbs) and reached that goal by the end of February. Mostly by tracking my calorie intake via fatsecret (online and android app). Awesome tool.
Next goal is to now get down to 160 lbs. Now that I have been adjusting to portion sizing and eating healthier food options, I am moving to the next level of incorporating more exercise (walking). Goal is to walk 30 minutes a day, 4-5 days a week. Using a Fitbit and Runkeeper to track progress.
Such great tools to help us get fit and monitor progress.
