I'm a thirty-something year old mom of three. I grew up on the borderline of healthy weight and overweight. I've always loved eating way too much, and now I'm obese. That word sounds way too much like beast for me to be comfortable describing myself as such. I like reading, writing, and staying around the house. I garden, clip coupons, and do a lot of other things related to collecting and eating food. I also like science, socio-economic subjects, and debates. My husband is tall, calm, smart and awesome. My kids are smart and cute, of course. I like my life, though I don't like having trouble tying my shoes.

Facebook App...
I've been using Fatsecret for a while, but I can't figure out how to connect it to Facebook! I downloaded the application, but it appears that it is completely separate from my normal account. So, if I update my diet and exercise on the website, I have to re-enter everything on Facebook? Then, if I enter it there, I have to do it again on the website. Is there a fix for this issue? Thanks!

Help me with Glute and Leg home exercise routine
I think you might have a nice shape, so firstly, enjoy yourself! On a side note, I've looked into the whole Zumba fitness thing, and I wonder if that can help? I've always had problems with my lower half as well, so I have to slim down quite a bit along with worrying about all that noise! You're doing well, though. Good luck!

turkey alot better for you than chicken?
I've noticed the same thing! It's quite a difference. I'm thankful for it, though.

Starving Hunger
Ugh. You know, I'm fine with eating some healthy foods, but the minute I eat something like wings, pizza, or whatever, I can't stop! I have a hard time even smelling stuff like that.

I have a theory that many of us are hard-wired to over eat when we are introduced to high calorie, high fat foods. I can do so well on a diet without even wanting to go find those types of foods, but the moment someone says, "Here, eat one of these donuts. They're soooo good," I cave. Then, I want another donute, and I'll be hungry like some sort of monster.

It's okay to that you caved. We all do. It's not really a fair fight, sometimes. You'll be okay! Good luck!

Why havent I lost any weight?!

One quick tip. I have a crazy schedule with my kids so when I get home, I sometimes only have 30 minutes to eat before I have to head to an activity. One thing that has helped me is that every weekend I make a whole bag of skinless chicken breasts in the crockpot. I then throw them in a zip lock and into the fridge they go. When I get home from work I can throw one of them on some whole wheat toast with side of cottage cheese and whala.. A dinner that takes about 3 minutes to make that is good for me. I also have plenty of tuna on hand and some whole wheat tortilla shells to make wraps. The key is to surround yourself with good things and trying to minimize those times where it's easy to fail "like when you're on the run". Just my 2 cents!

I love this idea!!!
