I just turned 40 a couple of weeks ago, and it dawned on me that I better loose this weight now and not "someday". That this is my prime time and it would be a shame to miss out becuase of feeling fat.
I am a Chef by trade, married to a Fish Monger name Henry who ownes a fresh fish market and currently I sell food. I also have a 15 year old son who is a remarkable guitarist and ski-er. Well, needless to say food is a big part of our lives. Henry is an extremely healthy eater but I am a total snacker. I am a salty person. We also drink a lot of wine so this diet is hard for me but it seems to work well.
My goal is to feel healthier and to look good for my family. I wish everyone the most of luck out there!

Hi, I am thinking (but am nit certain) that your body has gone into a state of katosis (SP) That is when your body is no longer fueled by carbs but by its own fat and for some reason your breath can start smelling bad. It is really common on the Atkins diet from what I have read. I would imagine you are losing a good amount of weight however. I bet when you start introducing carbs it should go away. I may be wrong in the definition but that is the jist. Hope that helps.
