I'm sorry you feel alone and pressured. That's hard. In your picture you look so lovely and it seems like you understand self-love--do it for yourself--yes! I'm old enough to be your grandma so I will say please stop telling yourself you are weak. You wouldn't say that to someone you love, it wouldn't help them. So please don't give that thought any power! It is hard when people around you aren't healthy eaters. Remember you have all of us here who all amazingly positive and trying. When you feel down, come to FS! Also maybe: suggestion. Try meditation for calming? An easy way to try it is @Headspace app on your phone. Free to start it. Very simple. Gives you tips you can use even when you are not actually meditating but you are in a stressful moment. My 2 cents.

You are so lucky you can eat monk sweetener. I really like it but I can't digest it and I get really bad gas. I tried experimenting with it different ways just to be sure it was really that--because I wanted to use it! But no..can't. I totally agree about Bengal Spice and I also use Good Earth Sweet & Spicy for variety. Also the Tazo dessert teas like Lemon Loaf (careful if you are sensitive to licorice root side fx). If you love sugar (I do!) you have to work the hacks. PS I wish Fat Secret would distinguish between sugar and added sugar in the measurements.

Hi Jen! Me too. I'm also back here for healthier eating and exercise goals. Also recently discovered my food preference is mostly vegan (+ salmon Smile so I've stopped eating birds/mammals (which surprisingly brought down inflammation for me right away..in my case). I need to monitor that I'm getting enough protein. And--I need to hold myself accountable every day for making sure I eat a good variety and try to fit in some kind of exercise. I wish you great success!

what is your goal weight, 5'3 and 5'4 ladies?
5'4" currently 125, goal 120. kind of. I'm 60 so trying to lose a some fat and gain muscle. I don't really care if I lose on the scales or not. I can tell by my clothes more than the scale if I'm tightening up. And I definitely don't want to lose muscle from not eating enough.
