Have used Body for Life in the past with great results. Doing it once again. Found FatSecret.com and figured it could help track those evil calories.

First of hopefully many posts
I did 40 lbs in 5 months at age 33 on Body for Life. Also did 40 lbs in 4 months at age 26 on BFL. BFL works.

My Food Diary
The current FatSecret database has a great number of protein shakes already in it. That's easier than other web site databases where the obscure items like protein shakes do not exist and you must enter them manually.

Heart Rate Zones
I don't do anything very scientific, just this: on the 3 aerobic workout days each week with Body for Life, I do the required 20 minutes in 1 minute increments of each MPH 4, 5, 6, 7, 4, 5 .. it is not scientific, but it gives me 5 peaks in 20 minutes. Now if I wasn't lazy, I'd do 5-8mph instead of 4-7, but I don't have the fortitude for that yet.

A GIFT FOR YOU
BFL rocks. Every time I have followed it, the diet provided me with healthy weight loss and strength increases with consistency. I have tried other diets and failed, but BFL has delivered success every time I have used it!
Now if I could only make myself stay on it year around

Introductions
I lost 40 lbs on Body for Life in a 20 week period of 2010. Went from 227 to 187 lbs. Now I am a 33 year old 5'11" male and everyone's body reacts differently, but the plan will work if you really follow it. The key is following the diet and actually doing the workouts. Following the diet is easier if you have support. My wife (who is thin) supported me in cooking the meals and such, so that made it much easier for me to stay on track.
