I am an active 60+ year old still playing basketball and running marathons. Have maintained a daily log of food intake for many years - only way I knew how to keep my weight in check. Switched to a higher protein, less carbs eating lifestyle in September 2017 when my wife decided it was time to lose some weight. She has dropped 80 lbs in that time. I lost weight as well due to the protein filling me up faster than some of the "cheap" carbs I was eating. We drastically reduced our sugar intake as well.
