Former College Athlete now30 years young and looking to get back to my playing weight.

I recently moved to Texas on my own which helped me gaini even more unwanted pounds. I was up to almost 280 (278.5) at my highest.
I was sweating all the time. I don't want to sweat through every meal!
I want to look good this summer. I need to be more presentable so that my body mirrors my strong happy personality.

And I've got to look really good to start dating the kind of girls I like the most!

I'm working out consistently, even when I'm tired and I'm seriously watching what I eat. More veggies, less potatoes, rice, pasta and bread. High fiber chicken vegetable soup, sometimes with some elbow pasta will get me to my goal. And if it doesn't, hopefully something else will!
Wish me luck!

Normal healthy eaters?
I've been consuming 3,300 calories a day and it would be more if it wasn't for this great service/calorie counter. I'm working out which is helping me burn approx. 3,700 calories a day.
I'm losing about 1.5 lbs a week. Eating less than 3,000 calories leaves me hungry. Before I started fatsecret.com, I imagine I was eating over 5,000 calories a day.
I've learned to not let that comparison chart at the bottom right of the screen affect me too negatively, as there are always going to be people smaller, skinnier, faster, stronger, whatever. And there will also always be people who stretch the truth, purposely leave information out and go overboard and over do it and try to be the best, even when being the best isn't important. Being consistent is what most important. For me, it's not over eating on Sundays. That's what's most important to me right now.

If you are only eating 400 calories a day, then I hope there is a good explanation. Otherwise, you are overdoing it and you will burn out fast.
