Low carb and hypothyroidism
Dr. Gundry's book has recipes that are quite delicious. And I have been able to figure out ways to substitute his "yes list" foods for foods I love but can no longer eat. Also, he sells a supplement that is a lectin blocker so you can cheat a little and not have issues. My digestive system really doesn't like the lectins so if I eat them, I will have stomach pain within 30 minutes. That is what gives me the will power to stick to the diet. I didn't realize how much pain I was living with until I became pain free. The diet is worth the effort for me.

Low carb and hypothyroidism
My goal with this plant paradox way of eating, which is close to keto with a few differences, is to not have to take any medications. Dr. Gundry explains in his book that the toxins we ingest cause the body’s immune system to get confused and therefore not function properly. I have been following his yes/no food list for three months now. I have easily lost weight for the first time in my adult life and my blood chemistry has improved. I have high hopes this will be sustainable and I can eliminate medications. We shall see.......🤞

Low carb and hypothyroidism
Dr. Gundry’s Plant Paradox (a book) could be useful. I have thyroid issues and following his suggestions has helped me steadily lose weight. It isn’t low carb (which I tried but was unsuccessful), it is about the toxins in certain foods that confuse your body. It may be worth looking into.

New to fat secrect
Sandrashulzi, go to the MYFATSECRET tab and scroll down until you see My Settings on the right hand side. Select that and scroll to the bottom of the page. There is a contact option in the choices at the bottom. That should get you in touch with admin. There is also Technical Help on the righ5 of the forum post page.
