Kurt H. In feb. 2011 I was 48 years old and 6'2" 250 lbs. I had a heart attack. I was revived and had two stints put in the heart. I've been overweight my whole life and felt it was futile to try to diet anymore. On Memorial day my wife and I met some people who introduced us to take shape for life a program for people to lose weight and get into optimal health. the couple had lost 40 and 60 pound and kept it off for two years. So we decieded to try it. I lost 70 lbs in 5 months my wife lost 60 in about 7 months. As most of us know loosing weight is not so hard when you are on program but keeping it off is harder so I am tryimg to be well connected in the community of people with common problems. Our weight!!! I plan to keep away from future health problems if I can. If you want some support check out my website I'd love to get to know you.

Protein and carbs
20% fat 35% protien and 45% carbs. try to stay away from anything with high fructose sugar. Those # could be closer to 40 40 on protien and carbs but fats as close to 20as you least thats what i've reserched so far.

poor choice : (
Steel cut oatmeal and raisins better lol if you have a small croc pot you can load it with oatmeal before bed and put it on low and breakfast is made when you get up. Keep up the good fight.
