I am a healthcare professional in my late 20's. You would think being in this profession I would have the good sense to take care of myself. Unfortunately, I let my health start to slip away. I got the point where i was disgusted with myself. I was lazy, unhealthy, overweight, and unhappy. I wanted my life back. I began working out, eating better, and with the help of some added supplements and vitamins I'm on my way. I just joined this website, after realizing the bennefit of having as many places for support as possible. I look forward to communicating with others facing similar hardships and with similar goals. I am currently using crossfit, which I love, and a well rounded regiment of Advocare products. With these and the support of my family and friends I have come this far, and don't plan on stopping any time soon. I hope to get to know some of you out there and share in success.

These are some other sites that have truly helped me get my life back on track, by putting them on here, I'm hoping they may be able to help others as well.

I don't understand...
A good thing to remember, is weight is also a science thing. The earth has a fluctuating gravity. This means on certain days it pulls stronger than others. It won't account for much alteration, but it can impact your weight slightly. That mixed with water weight and other influences at the particular time you weigh yourself in the day could be, (I'm no doctor, so this is strictly opinion) what cause that day to day change. I would agree with mdep, it's more in how you feel. If your clothes fit better, and you feel better, then the scale is just a number.

Need an added boost to kick off weight loss? This could help!
Sorry for that. I don't mean to come off that way. After all these years I've finally started taking my health seriously. And when I start to see results I get excited. I talk the same way about the workouts I do, my job, or other activities I get involved in. Honestly I was just trying to pass on information about what helped me. I'm not saying anything is the fix-all for everyone out there, but it has helped me, and I think it's worth a look for others. It may not be for everyone, but it could be helpful for some.

Crossfit anyone?
hi jessyline. I started doing crossfit last summer, and absolutely fell in love with it. The workouts are intense, but doing them with the class environment really helps. And every class I've been to, everyone there is very supportive and energetic. The great thing about crossfit is you can start with any fitness level. All you do is taylor the excersises to your level. If you can only do pushups on your knees, then start there and stick with it, before you know it you will be doing them in full plank. If you can't do a pull up, use a box or band to assist, eventually you will build up your strength to do them unassisted. The key is to talk to the staff and instructors, let them know where you are and where you want to be. They will help you. Crossfit is more than an excersise, it's a community.
Hope this helps, and good luck.

Stalled and need help.!!
I have to agree with raptorlady. When starting a new diet, especially like this one, your body is going through a change in the levels of vitamins and minerals it produces and needs. All the vitamins she listed are actually available in a program I recently took and had tremendous results with. It may be able to help you, it's at least worth a look. It's called the Advocare 24 day challenge. The website is below, it's under their "trim" line. Hope it helps.
