I never know what to say here . . . I'm just me, I guess. I might add more later. For now, I'm pretty open about who I am, so if anyone wants to know anything, just ask :-)

Amount of calories to burn to loose one pound?
That is really scary, if you look at it from that perspective.

Amount of calories to burn to loose one pound?
Ok, here's an interesting question . . .
Hypothetically speaking, does anyone know how many calories one has to burn to loose one pound?
I'm googled, but I can't seem to find an answer. And, if this is a blonde question, please forgive. I cannot do maths to save my life. I mean, would this be different per person? Does your weight add in to the equation?
And yes, I know it's not the way it works, as food intake and water and about a million other things have to be consider. But, as I said - hypothetically speaking.
Help, please?

specific exercise help please
Hi There
I'm new at this exercise thing, so please be gentle with me . . .
I've been doing approxamately 30 - 45 minutes of stationary biking every day, as well as walking as much as I can, which can be anything between 20 - 40 minutes a day. It's obviously helped with weight reduction, and I will still continue to do this.
I've been thinking that it's time to start doing more specific exercise. I need to know what I can do to help reduce the fat around my tummy area and upper arms - those are the two I'd like to work on specifically.
Please remember that I'm pretty new at this, and that exercise has always been something I've hated. I'm going to have to look up the details of how to do anything properly.
Help please!!
