I'm almost 64 this month. Been retired for 2 years. I have been with my boyfrriend for almost 27 years. My whole family has had weight problems. I had an aunt who weighed more than 300 pounds when she passed away from liver cancer. Mama was almost 200 when she died. All of my aunts were and are heavy.I have been on diets all of my life. I don't weigh much but I want to lose 20 pounds by Christmas. I have no kids but my boyfriends family is absolutly wonderful and has accepted me completely. We have 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. I love to do all kinds of crafts and I sell my baking on line from Oct-Jan. Norm and I love to go to the casinos here in Arizona. I read mystery fiction and have written 2 short stories and hope to get them published before I get to old.

BREAKFAST CHANGE
I know everyone believes in eating a big breakfast even when your on a diet but that is something I do not do. Since being retired I am not active enough to eating 1/3 of my calories the first thing in the morning. I would rather have my main meal for lunch So I decided to try this.
Breakfast: Large glass of COLD soy milk
Lunch: Lean meat, steamed veggies and fruit bowl for dessert.
Dinner (I eat a late dinner) 7:00 PM so I will only have maybe a yougart or a small serving of oatmeal with cinnamon or 1/2 of a english muffin with diet jam. I usually get around 900 calories a day.
If I walk over 3 miles in a day I will add something to my evening meal like another serving of fruit (favorite is watermelon)
