I turned 48 yesterday. I used my birthday as an excuse to have a gym rest day - I am allowing myself one rest day a week. Going to the gym tonight after work.

Well, back to it after 5 straight months of continuous chest infection, which left me barely functioning. I gained weight during that period and was unable to exercise.
I've now been feeling better for 2 weeks and have been back to the gym for 5 days now. I didn't exercise at all during the period of the constant chest infection...

The 5 days interstate have really played havoc with this. I'm working all weekend, but will get back to the gym and monitoring every mouthful of food tomorrow (Monday), but have already started returning to my weight loss diet. Just need to keep on top of everything.
