Had the same thing happen... gained 6-7 pounds a year over 7 years! Now trying to lose it. Just sticking to a sensible diet, lots of fruit and veggies and meats, getting out more - even in the winter, etc,. has helped a lot. I have lost 11 pounds in 4 weeks so far just by making simple changes and staying away from so many of the processed foods! Mind you, we still stop out now and again, my hubby likes BK (YUK!) and some days are just too busy with a live-in active grandchild in the mix... just limiting those moments when i reach for a box mix! i cook like we still have a big family, lots of soups and stews, non-cream based, and eat the leftovers all week at work.
